Yunmmm!!!! The elote dish here is the star!! Was visiting Sedona with some girlfriends and of course elote house is on the top of many lists to try. The service was great! I just wish they'd stay open longer haha. Anyways we ordered a bunch of stuff and everything was delicious. I ordered the shrimp entree and I really enjoyed it. the shrimp was cooked perfectly and it was tender and not overcooked or rubbery. The flavors for every dish were so perfect for each other. Highly recommend visiting here if you're in Sedona!

Excellent meal, excellent service. Shrimp & Pork Belly was so flavorful! We had the Elote as an appetizer as well and it was absolutely delicious! Omar our server took great care of us! We will be back!

Amazing! The bar was the best place to be seated and completely enjoyed the experience. The best margaritas ever !!!

I was really excited to take our friend visiting from out of town here after getting a last minute reservation here! Typically you need to book reservations about 60-90 days out depending on the time of year. It was surprisingly not too busy when we went for an early dinner seating. We decided to share a few items: elote, smoked brisket enchiladas, lamb adobo and pork short rib carnitas. We also ordered some drinks and enjoyed them a lot. The tequila and mezcal here is always awesome! My husband and I have previously dined at Elote Cafe, so we had tried everything except for the pork short rib. All dishes were cooked perfectly and had lots of flavor. Our new favorite is the pork short rib. There was tons of meat, a delicious sauce and fresh elements like the pickled onion and guac. All the food came quickly and the service was great. The server even suggested some of their house made hot sauce that complemented the pork dish very well. They also brought a small dessert for us to share to celebrate my husband's birthday. If you are in Sedona, you should definitely come here for dinner!

I've been wanting to try Elote Cafe for a while now ever since New Years but we missed our chance then. However, during our most recent Sedona visit, we were able to give them a go. They are not dog friendly and we had our dog with us, so we just ordered take out instead. When you call your order in, you're able to choose what time you want to pick it up at, which is pretty neat. My husband and I decided to get a few things to share: Elote - Fire roasted corn with spicy mayo, lime and cotija cheese. I mean, they're called Elote Cafe so we had to give their elote a try. And it was delicious! It was nice and creamy with hints of sweetness, spice, savory, and a bit tangy from the lime. Green Corn Tamal - Fresh corn, roasted poblano and jack cheese tamal served with salsa verde and crema. I can't say this was a favorite. It was good though. The tamal was smooth. The salsa verde and crema went well with everything. It was a great subtle type of dish. Duck Carnitas - Slow roasted duck served with pasilla chile sauce and guacamole. Their duck carnitas as absolutely delicious. It still had the flavor of duck and it was so different than what we were used to. Definitely recommend this dish. So far, out of the small number of restaurants we've ate it/done take out with in Sedona, Elote Cafe is a favorite. Whenever we visit Sedona, we would definitely get food here!

We finally dined at the "newer" Elote restaurant recently. Our first dining experience was in 2013, when Elote was located on the second floor, next to a hotel. We loved the new location, for its spaciousness & a myriad of seating areas. We had an early dinner reservation & enjoyed EVERYTHING we ordered, even dessert! My pork short rib was tender & perfectly seasoned, accompanied by pickled red onion. My husband loved his Tri tip steak dinner, which was phenomenal enhanced with guadjillo chili sauce. Our male server was friendly & introduced us to the sweet corn cake, topped with vanilla agave ice cream & whipped cream - so delicious!

This place almost got five stars. The service was great. We never ran out of water or chips & salsa. Our waiter was attentive when needed. The food was the major factor though. Elote corn appetizer- Delicious! You have to order this one! Camarones al Mojo de Ajo - Shrimp was cooked perfectly. Generous portion and great size. Flavor was great! Pollo en Mole Poblano - Boyfriend ordered this one and ate before I got a picture. I don't blame him, it was delicious also! I don't really like mole, but the flavor of this dish was so good that I'd order it in the future. The only reason they lost a star from me is that the corn tortillas were pulled right out of a grocery store bought package. They did not taste fresh or even warmed up. Tasted exactly like a tortilla out of a bag. That'd be fine if you weren't paying ~$35 for an entree. All in all, DEFINITELY give this place a try.

I made it a point to return to Elote cafe, since our last visit years ago was apparently at the old location when I was on my Yelp hiatus. - Roasted pineapple mezcal ($16): smoky and delish. - Elote ($11): well, you can't come to Elote cafe and not order their namesake! This is a staple. 4/5 - Jicama orange salad ($13): unique and refreshing. The vinaigrette was spicy! 3.5/5 - Corn crusted scallops ($20): the scallops were meaty and sweet. Lots of different condiments and sauces going on. 3/5 - Smoked pork cheeks ($29): the pork cheeks were tender and had good flavor. The corn cake was disappointing. Again, lots of condiments and sauces. 3/5 - Chocolate pie ($12): A light chocolate mousse with a crispy crust and yummy toasted almonds. 4/5 I'm a self proclaimed condiment queen. Usually, the more the better! However, we both thought everything but the kitchen sink was on the dishes which took away from the main stars (scallops and pork cheeks). Service was good. Overall, 3.5 stars rounded up.

Hands Down, one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever eaten at. The atmosphere is laid back with a lot of energy with both indoor and patio seating along with a long bar which people sat and ate too. The service was excellent, Adrian took very good care of us. To note: make your reservation far in advance is a must if you want to dine a prime dinner hour. I made reservations far in advance for 2 at 7:00 PM on a Tuesday. Upon arrival we were greeted and seating in a spacious booth and given Chips and Salsa. Adrian introduced himself and gave us the drink specials, which we ordered up right away, while looking over the menu. LOL as usual, my eyes are always bigger than my stomach. When I try new restaurants with my friend, we always do family style so I can taste more dishes. We ordered Baja Fish Tacos, Corn Crusted Scallops, Shrimp con Espinacas and the Duck Carnitas. The portions are large and the flavors are just wonderful. In addition the entrees came with Rice and Beans. Just love this place, will be back next visit for sure. Atmosphere: laid back with a lot of energy. Service: excellent. Food: excellent.
